A Garden Shed

Garden Shed

I am a firm believer that elements in a garden such as sheds need not be strictly utilitarian. They can be key components of the overall design of the space. This shed I designed for a backyard in Moore Park is situated at the mid point of the garden, replacing an old dilapidated garage and possesses an almost Japanese tea house type of quality.

  1. Love this shed - brings serenity to the place. The individual boards are very attractive; as they fade I think they will keep this characteristic but it will be interesting to see how well it ages over time. Cedar I presume?

I made a shed in Collingwood with sliding doors (not quite so noce looking!! :-) and it not only looks good but is also makes the items inside very accessible.

    Well done.
